I was given a very brief description of the cover, as the script hadn't been finished yet. It was suggested that I create a still-life featuring Flycatcher's hat among other effects. As tempting as that sounded, I tried to create a more conceptual cover to convey the story within.

I wanted the flowers to look fleshy, evoking striations of muscle and blood.


> Finish, Photoshop CS2, 7 x 10.5 @ 600 dpi.

The painting needed a few tweaks in photoshop for enhanced color and a bit of color dodging to bring out the details.
