I created a piece of artwork for the Totoro Forest Project which will go on auction live on September 6th, 2009 at Pixar Animation Studios. Proceeds will benefit the Totoro No Furusato National Fund, the Japanese non-profit foundation established by Oscar-winning filmmaker Hayao Miyazaki, to preserve and protect the Sayama Forest.

The panel on the left is an actual page removed from my sketchbook which was then scanned into the computer and colored digitally. The panel on the right is a giclee of the final image. Both pieces are framed together on a linen matte with rounded corners under UV protective glazing. There are many amazing submissions available, but if you are especially interested in my piece, please email

I will be signing copies of XOXO at Nucleus Gallery on Sept. 20th from 8 - 10pm. Details here. Hope to see you there!

I've also posted 8 pages for sale from the interior story I illustrated in the Fables 1001 Nights of Snowfall graphic novel. They can be found under "originals>paintings" by clicking the links on the upper left of the site.
