Once in a while, you'll come across a model that rattles your nerves. The line fails to live up to the observed form, and any confidence dissolves. When this happens, it's best to clear the mind, abandon the drawing, and start fresh, rather than sink into a murky, tangled mess. Ah well . . . better luck next time.
